I only work with individuals currently! I’ve been helping people and couples create positive results in their lives and relationships, including lifting depression, easing anxiety, resolving trauma and relationship problems, since 2009. Using a blend of (relationship) counselling, hypnotherapy, NLP and EFT I will provide you with the therapeutic tools, support, and guidance to help you make positive life changes.

I am a clinical psychologist with 29 years of experience, originally from South Africa and practicing as a clinical psychologist in New Zealand for the past six years. My interests include: * Relationship Challenges * Problems with Anxiety -- Panic Disorder, GAD, OCD, PTSD, etc. * Bereavement * Personality Challenges * Stress * Intimacy issues, especially women's challenges (e.g., menopause, infertility, etc)

I offer in-person counselling for individuals and couples from a cozy boathouse studio in central Whangarei, also worldwide online counselling in English, Swedish and Estonian. My therapy style is solution focused CBT mixed with other styles I find useful in personal growth. My areas of interest include couples therapy, migration and cultural issues, stress and anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, communication difficulties and self-esteem concerns.
