I received a Master of Psychotherapy from AUT (honours) and have completed trainings in Hakomi (a mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy), trauma work, systems and parts work (such as IFS - Internal Family Systems), and ecotherapy.
I was involved with Nonviolent Communication trainings for many years, using it as a counseling approach before training as a psychotherapist in 2017. While training, I spent over two years as a psychotherapist intern at an eating disorder clinic in Auckland.
I moved to Hawke's Bay at the begining of 2021 where I volunteered as a counsellor at the Heretaunga Women's Centre while starting a private practice in Napier.
