Review: “Five stars, without a doubt”
I offer in-person counselling for individuals and couples from a cozy boathouse studio in central Whangarei, also worldwide online counselling in English, Swedish and Estonian. My therapy style is solution focused CBT mixed with other styles I find useful in personal growth. My areas of interest include couples therapy, migration and cultural issues, stress and anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, communication difficulties and self-esteem concerns.

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and a Family/Couples Counsellor. I can provide both in-person and online counselling. My in-person sessions are by home visits or at another agreed location. My practise is multi-cultural and inter-faith. Born in Iran, lived in Jamaica, married to an African and now in New Zealand, my life is an example of crossing boundaries to understand, accept and respect all cultures.
