I have been a Registered Psychologist for over 30 years; I am a parent of three adult daughters and a grandparent of two little boys. I am very experienced at parenting and dealing with behavioural issues. As well as helping parents with behavioural issues I can also help with sleep patterns and dependencies. I specialise in anxiety and panic attacks, and I have developed resources to manage this. I am very experienced in couples counselling & relationship issues. iI can help with communication issues.

I offer in-person counselling for individuals and couples from a cozy boathouse studio in central Whangarei, also worldwide online counselling in English, Swedish and Estonian. My therapy style is solution focused CBT mixed with other styles I find useful in personal growth. My areas of interest include couples therapy, migration and cultural issues, stress and anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, communication difficulties and self-esteem concerns.

I help you find solutions to any issues you may be experiencing, whether they are related to your relationships or other problems. My work is eclectic, and I choose the type of therapy in consultation with you to suit you and your issues. My mission is to support people in creating relationships that are more secure, joyful, and fulfilling.
