Considering Separation - Relationship counselling Bay of Plenty

Juan is a counsellor and therapeutic coach who integrates (relationship) counselling and coaching within the same journey. He supports clients and couples to explore past and present experiences through counselling, while using neuro-based therapeutic coaching to focus on present and future goals. His approach combines emotional insight, nervous system regulation, and practical strategies to support healthier relationships, resilience, and sustainable change.

In life and in relationships we can all have times that are more challenging and painful than others and (relationship / couples) counselling can provide a safe space to work through those seasons. I am a (relationship) counsellor who is committed to providing that safe and confidential environment where individuals and couples can feel heard and validated while working through their pain and struggles without judgement.

I offer in-person counselling for individuals and couples from a cozy boathouse studio in central Whangarei, also worldwide online counselling in English, Swedish and Estonian. My therapy style is solution focused CBT mixed with other styles I find useful in personal growth. My areas of interest include couples therapy, migration and cultural issues, stress and anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, communication difficulties and self-esteem concerns.
