Hi, I’m Dan.

I want you to have a safe and gratifying (relationship) therapy experience with benefits that last well after you finish the therapy sessions.

I’m a Registered Comprehensive Clinical Nurse Therapist and I’ve been working in Mental Health since 2010 and offering talking therapy to clients in addiction, in prison, in tertiary hospitals for the district health board, in primary health organisations, and in private therapy for couples and individuals since 2014.

My favoured treatment modality is Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals, Couples, and Families. I also provide Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Symptoms I can help you manage might be feeling grief, trauma, lack of motivation, confusing feelings, perhaps like you feel alone even when you’re with people you care about, disconnected, or you might feel like no one really gets you. I can help if you feel it’s time to change your habits and you want something better out of your life and relationship

I can’t help with therapy that is at the request of someone else. You have to want it. If you’re only doing it because someone else said so, it won’t work. Do this for yourself, or to invest in your relationships, and it will be really effective.
