Hi, I'm Valda

Sometimes life gets messy, in counselling I provide a welcoming, supportive place for each of you to strengthan the relationship between you in the face of the challenges you may be facing. In working with couples my aim is to provide a safe space to work through the issues you are experiancing without judgement or blame, while looking to establish a long term, secure base for your partnership with each other.

My training in Narrative Therapy, Attachment Based Counselling, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Person-Centred Therapy combine to work at your pace, to help you explore the challenges you may be facing, and work towards a solution that sits comfortably with who you are both individually and as a couple.

I am a MNZCCA , and MNZAC registered.

Online therapy

Online options for counselling are avaliable using the Doxy-Me platform. Doxy-Me can be acessed from a link to my waiting room and works on both laptop and smartphones.

In the case of online work the first session would consider the suitability of working online with the issues presented.
